Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Chip Level Engineer with experience in BGA (Ball Grid Array) SMD (Surface-Mounted Device) Rework, motherboard repairs, and laptop card-level diagnostics.

This role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and reworking components on motherboards and other electronic devices at a granular level.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with chip-level repairs and will be responsible for identifying faults, troubleshooting issues, and performing high-quality rework on laptop motherboards, graphics cards, and other components.

Key Responsibilities: Chip-Level Troubleshooting and Repair Diagnose and repair faults at the component level on motherboards, graphics cards, and other electronics, including power circuits, memory, processor, and peripheral components.

Identify issues related to BGA/SMD components and perform rework, soldering, and desoldering as necessary.

BGA Rework & SMD Soldering Perform BGA rework and repair of BGAs, including reballing, chip replacement, and soldering of SMD components using the appropriate techniques and tools (e.g., hot air rework station, soldering iron, reflow oven).

Testing and Quality Control Conduct post-repair testing using diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) to ensure the functionality of the motherboard or card.

Ensure that all repairs meet quality standards and operational specifications.

Component Replacement & Repair Replace damaged or faulty components (capacitors, resistors, ICs, etc.) with new ones and verify the proper functioning of the unit after repair

2 TO 3yr salary 22k to 25k

4 TO 5 salary 25k to 30k

5+yr salary 30k to 40
