Responsibilities
- Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
- Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
- Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
- Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
Lead the implementation of medical lab Quality Systems programs that are consistent with regulatory policies and standards by providing appropriate guidance and technical support. Assist with update, revise, and maintain the Laboratory’s Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents Audits and reviews quality data according to established procedures. Support corrective action task force initiatives, conducts quality audits and process validation. Ensure the organization participates in accreditations programs, maintains licenses, and certifications time to time. Work with recipient laboratory (clients) to develop organization quality standard, development plan and mentorship to address gaps and improve patient care. Overseeing safety measures and addressing non compliances. Achieves quality results by participating in the lab's quality assurance program. Identifies informational needs to manage medical laboratory information systems. Analytical and problem solving skill, team player. Preferred candidates with minimum 5+ years of experience as Quality Manager in NABL Lab. Certification course in NABL/NABH is mandatory. CAP is an added advantage.
