### Job Description: Senior Social Media Manager


**Position Overview: **


The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and foster community growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics, capable of leading a team and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.


**Key Responsibilities: **


1. **Strategy Development: **

  - Develop and implement a holistic social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing and business goals.

  - Identify target audiences and create tailored content strategies for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).


2. **Content Creation and Management: **

  - Oversee the creation, curation, and management of all published content (images, videos, written posts).

  - Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for each platform.

  - Develop a content calendar to plan and schedule posts in advance.


3. **Team Leadership: **

  - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of social media specialists and coordinators.

  - Provide clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities for team members.

  - Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.


4. **Community Engagement: **

  - Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to customer inquiries and comments promptly.

  - Build and nurture relationships with key influencers and brand advocates.

  - Manage and mitigate any social media crises or negative interactions.


5. **Analytics and Reporting: **

  - Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.

  - Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and ROI.

  - Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media.


6. **Campaign Management: **

  - Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns.

  - Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

  - Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.


7. **Collaboration: **

  - Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, PR, product development) to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.

  - Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and partners as needed.


**Qualifications: **


- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of success.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience with social media advertising and paid campaign management.

- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).


**Preferred Skills: **


- Experience in a similar role within the [industry specific to the hiring company].

- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
