Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess strong technical accounting skills and financial reporting expertise to ensure precise financial analysis and compliance (Mandatory skill).
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation of complex financial information (Mandatory skill).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required to efficiently manage large datasets, perform complex calculations, and generate insightful financial reports.
  • A solid understanding of tax regulations is needed to ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant tax laws and facilitate tax planning.
  • Effective time management skills are crucial to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure timely completion of financial activities.
  • Demonstrated capability to coordinate within a team environment, fostering collaboration and achieving collective financial objectives.
  • Keen attention to detail is essential to identify and correct discrepancies in financial records, thereby maintaining accuracy and integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including account reconciliations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data through thorough analysis and application of accurate accounting standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of comprehensive financial statements in compliance with required schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business objectives and growth plans.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to provide actionable insights for executive management and support decision-making processes.
  • Lead financial audits and liaise with auditors to ensure successful year-end audit processes and compliance with financial policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to develop their skills and improve the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the finance department.
