Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Tally) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, maintaining expense accounts, payments, and payroll.
• Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
• Assist with budget preparations and monitor budgets.
• Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
• Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
• Assemble documents for external auditors and assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Provide general accounting support to the finance team.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
