Post: Design Engineer Solar

Key Responsibilities:  Design and engineering of solar PV systems, including layout, electrical configuration, and specifications.

 Perform detailed site surveys and assessments to gather data for design and feasibility studies.  Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for solar PV projects.

 Conduct system performance modeling and analysis using relevant software tools.

 Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

 Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in solar PV design.

 Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operation phases of solar projects.

 Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building codes, and safety requirements. Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

 Proven experience (3-4 years) in solar PV system design and engineering.

 Proficiency in design software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, etc.

 Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverters, batteries, and other components used in solar PV systems

.  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

 Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 Knowledge of local and national regulatory requirements for solar PV installations. Preferred Qualifications:

 Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.

 Experience with energy storage systems and hybrid solar solutions.

 Previous experience working with utility-scale solar projects.
