Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level PHE & FF Design Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in the relevant field. The role involves leading the design team and draughtsman, coordinating various projects, and ensuring effective design documentation and execution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) experience (Mandatory skill)
• Plumbing Designer experience (Mandatory skill)
• Ability to lead the design team and draughtsman to prepare drawings and design documents (Mandatory skill)
• Experience in preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Design Basis Report (DBR) for tender projects
• Proficiency in structural calculations and analysis for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Strong understanding of local and international plumbing and fire protection codes and standards
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design team and draughtsman in creating comprehensive design documents
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Design Basis Reports (DBR) for tender projects
• Conduct structural calculations for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Ensure adherence to local and international codes and standards in all design activities
• Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill project requirements
• Review and verify design documents for accuracy and completeness
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and draughtsman
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and comprehensive design solutions
