Job Overview

Design Engineer /BIW Fixture Design Engineer having 2 to 6 Years experience in Mechanical Design, Robotic Simulation, Product Design and Project Management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience: 2 to 6 years

-Qualification: B.E. Mechanical / D.M.E

-Skills: UG NX / CATIA 

Skills required:

-BIW Tool Design (Fixtures/Grippers/Other Equipment)

-BIW assembly process knowledge

-Automotive manufacturing domain knowledge

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Work Independently on BIW fixtures, and Grippers

2. 3D Concept Design, 3D finishing, 2D detailing, BOM, and Documentation.

3. Work on Concept Designs with simple to the complex unit building.

4. Weld study, Gun study, layout knowledge, process sheet, etc.

5. Conduct QA/QC exercises independently including tool review and validation.

6. Experience in BIW Fixture design and manufacturing and production.

7. Good hands-on experience in BIW Fixture design with European Standards and manufacturing process.

8. Good understanding of major design tools such as FMEA, tolerance loop etc

9. Good experience in CAD tools, Like Catia & UG NX with OEM Standards

10. Candidate should be having a solution-oriented approach

11. Ability to work with minimum guidance /supervision.
