Job Title: In-House Service Manager - Medical Device Service

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled In-House Service Manager to lead our medical device service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our in-house service department, ensuring timely and effective repair and maintenance of medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of the in-house service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs) and other support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
3. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
4. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing obsolescence.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage departmental budgets and costs, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste.
7. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: 4-7 years of experience in medical device service, including experience in a leadership or management role.
3. Certifications: Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) certification preferred.
4. Skills:

2. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
4. Strong analytical and technical skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
