Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant at Aakruthi Properties, you will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Financial Accounting:

• Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

1. Taxation:

• Managing all aspects of taxation, including income tax, GST, and other statutory compliances.
• Preparing and filing tax returns on time.
• Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

1. Financial Analysis:

• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
• Preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitoring budget performance and variance analysis.

1. Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinating internal and external audits.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• RERA Compliances.

1. Team Management:

• Leading and mentoring a team of junior accountants or finance professionals.
• Providing guidance and support to team members.

Candidate Qualifications and Expertise:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and expertise:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA qualification is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Proven experience in taxation and familiarity with Indian tax laws (preferably real estate laws), RERA Compliances.
• Experience with real estate accounting is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software is a plus.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Team Player:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to Detail:
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
• Adaptability:
