Position: Cyber Security Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Job Role/Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize security risks and weaknesses in our systems and networks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 (Service Organization Control Type 2), and other industry-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Manage and configure Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to monitor and analyze security events and incidents.
• Perform penetration tests (pen tests) to assess the resilience of our infrastructure and applications against cyber threats and attacks.
• Provide expertise and guidance on security best practices to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches, coordinating incident response efforts when necessary.
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively improve our security posture.

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a plus.
• Strong experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks, especially ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
