5Gen Care provides technology solutions and a comprehensive range of services. We provide an IoT and Video IoT platform which enables sensors, gateways and devices to connect. We work with our B2B clients on solutions to manage smart connected properties from a centralised system. We also work with our partners in bringing up white labelled solutions for OEM that can enable a faster setup of connected devices environment.

We are a young start-up, initiated in Hong Kong, and now looking to expand its core engineering activates in Bangalore. 

5Gen Care is hiring a unique Developer position that will allow you to not only expand your capabilities but build equity in a unique adventure start-up.  We are seeking full-time developers who ideally have experience in ReactJS web application development. However, as a tech start-up there is an opportunity for growth and those with experience in similar areas are encouraged to apply. 

Experience

• 3-6 Years in ReactJS or VueJS

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React or VueJS concepts.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js or VueJS workflows.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Mandatory prior and thorough understanding of React.jsor VueJS and its core principles
• Mandatory prior experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux )
• Familiarity with more current specifications of EcmaScript
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with HTML / CSS, SaaS
• GIT experience 
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial

Qualifications

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.C.A in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 60% in Graduation and Post-Graduation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
