IAM Analyst
Responsibilities
• Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring the right people have access to the right resources.
• Collaborate with the IAM team to implement and maintain IAM solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues.
• Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
• Work with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
• Maintain documentation for the IAM program.
• Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
• Provide training to new users on the IAM system.
• Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience with IAM systems and tools.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of directory services (LDAP) and databases.
• Familiarity with web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SOAP) and security standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional IAM certification (e.g., Certified Access Management Specialist - CAMS).
• Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves supporting the organization’s IAM program, ensuring secure and efficient access management solutions
